Christmas was great this year. Lots of family, food, and laughter. Daddy and Milah joined us for Christmas Day and we girls decided to have a picture together. As you can see we are quite a good looking group of ladies.

Thanksgiving Day
Thanksgiving just keeps getting better and better. All the kids arrived about 10:00 a.m. with lots of excitement in the air. The girls jumped in and made the family favorite dishes. Ashleigh made cream corn, green bean casserole. Lindsey made deviled eggs, 2 cho. fudge pies, and holiday cupcakes (of which Zachary helped). Megan made the sweet potato casserole, and veg-all casserole. I make the turkey and dressing, lots of gravy, fruit salad, and of course pumpkin pie. Preston and Tabatha showed up and joined us. Lots of stuffing ourselves, and a time of reflection around the table as each took a turn to share what they were thankful for.
As for me, I think there is always the obvious, but this year it goes much deeper than that. Everyone is healthy, everyone is happy, and for this day, life is good. I am thankful for the simple things. A giggle from Rachel, (I always have loved her laugh). A funny story from Ashleigh. A blonde joke from Lindsey, an embarrassed look from Megan because she said something goofy, a imitation of a family member from Ben. I am very grateful to the Lord that he has given me such wonderful kids and the greatest husband in the world.
Yes, today is good, today is very good.
